About Beverley

Bev has lived in Tacolneston all his life. He is married with four adult children. They all attended local schools.

In the past, Bev has been Chairman of the local Parish Council, Governor for over twenty years at Primary and Middle Schools and he enjoys being active in his local villages with their unique history.

Bev help the rural economy. One of his main concerns is with the closures of local amenities, such as Post Offices, Village Stores and Public Houses. This Labour Government has not supported the rural economy. They are not keeping the local Post Offices open and are now burdening Public Houses with increasing bureaucracy and licensing costs.

Providing low cost housing for young people is another concern of his. The low cost housing site at Burston could go forward with local support, as has the already successful site at Tivetshall.

Bev has worked hard to serve the residents of his District and would now relish the opportunity to serve West Depwade on Norfolk County Council.
