JOE MOONEY Getting Things Done For All of Us

Joe Mooney spent most of his working life in the retail trade employed as a Transport Manager for one of the city’s largest stores.

He has lived in Wymondham since 1983 with his wife, Catherine. They have four children, Eleanor, Edward, Timothy and Francis.

Joe is a member of South Norfolk Council and Wymondham Town Council. He is currently Mayor of Wymondham and this gives him a great insight into the needs of the people of Wymondham.

Mr Mooney is not afraid to stand up and speak out on the real issues that matter to residents of our town. He is currently involved in the campaign to try and save the intermediate care beds at Ogden Court.

He is a member of the working group set up by the town council to make our town cleaner, greener and brighter. Joe is also working hard to bring to fruition various projects in the town such as the new allotments, the Library project, new doctors’ surgery and the bmx/skateboard track.

Joe will fight for further street lighting and footway improvements for the Ward. He will also continue to support the Tourist Information Centre the Farmers Market and voluntary groups.

He is currently working hard to try and secure more open space for our town.
