About Hedley

Hedley has lived in Fundenhall all his life until two years ago moving just once, a whole mile. He ran a successful dairy enterprise at Manor Farm for 40 years being the third generation to do so over a period of 97 years. Hedley’s roots are firmly fixed in the local area. He now lives with his wife, Margaret, and three children in Carleton Rode. He works part time in Forncett St Peter.

Hedley has been Chairman of Wymondham YF C and Wymondham NFU branches and represented both on County committees over the years. He has also been a steward at the Royal Norfolk Show for 36 years.
Locally he has been on Ashwellthorpe and Fundenhall Parish Council for nearly 20 years, the last seven years as chairman. He has been on the village hall committee for eight years, and has been part of the group setting up the Ashwellthorpe and Fundenhall website.

Hedley is proud to be part of the group who are working to get Fundenhall church reopened with the help of a grant from English Heritage.
I am very interested in local planning and recycling, both of which have big implications for our future. Hedley would relish the opportunity to represent you on South Norfolk Council.

Hedley is a great community champion. He works hard for all the people of the Ward, irrespective of their normal political views.

Geoffrey van Orden MEP visits Tacolneston on 5th April to assist Hedley's campaign with a visit to Europe's largest peacock farm that exports pedigree birds around the world.
