South Norfolk District Councillors for Hethersett

About David

He went to Norwich City college before joining NCR Ltd at their Norwich office. This led to a period at their Toronto office in Canada. On my return he worked at the Rowntree Mackintosh offices in Chapelfield. He was seconded to New Zealand and Australia to setup a marketing and support distributorship for a well known UK computer software company.

He returned to Hethersett where he setup his own software development and consulting company. Among his clients were BBC International, Barclaycard International and more recently his company is responsible for preparing performance review reports for a number organisations in the UK.

His interests include football, golf, motor racing, WWII aircraft and steam engines."David said “I am very fond of Hethersett and its surrounding areas and want to ensure that it’s peoples opinions are heard in the right places."

He is a member of the Norfolk Wildlife Trust and the Hethersett Social Club, and has helped in fund raising for a Cancer Charity in the village.

About Leslie

I moved to Hethersett in September 2002, having left London in July 2002. His new property features 10 water butts and 6 compost bins to aid an almost total organic gardening regime. Village journeys are usually made on a bicycle.

I work as a volunteer for Mid Norfolk Railway, where I'm involved in Building projects-most notably the new water column-this when he is not acting as train Guard. Outside of the Mid Norfolk Railway I work for the South Norfolk Council Conservation Volunteers, the Norfolk Wildlife Trust, the RSPB and the Hethersett & District Horticultural Society as Committee Secretary.
