Stella's Biography

My husband Keith and I live with our cat at Dickleburgh.

We own a delicatessen, café and fresh fish stall in Diss. We buy from numerous local suppliers. We also do some educational work on the benefits of sourcing local food.

My immediate previous career was as a financial advisor giving ethically based advice. I am a member of the board of the ethical investment association.

Prior to this, I worked in films and TV, appearing in Tenko and Only Fools and Horses. Before that, I worked in the fashion industry.

Currently I am the chairman for the South Norfolk Campaign for the Protection of Rural England.

My future aims are to continue to work for the local community and the people who live in it and to promote the benefits of local foods as these are areas that I believe in passionately.

The issues that affect our community must be dealt with by local people for our immediate and future benefit. We need things to change and we need to make it happen. Take control of your community, have your say and make the things you want become reality. I offer caring, compassionate and crusading for our community, together we will make it happen.
