He and his family live in Wymondham. Part of Wymondham is in the new Forehoe County Council ward form which he is the candidate. Andrew is an elected Town and District Councillor and until May this year is Mayor of Wymondham. He has spent most of his working life in the retail trade employed with large Norfolk firms. He also spent a period doing voluntary work in Central Africa. Andrew is currently employed in the caring profession working for Methodist Homes for the Aged, where he is a Senior Relief Carer. Andrew was born in East Carleton and has lived most of his life (34 years) there, being educated at Swardeston, Mulbarton and Wymondham Schools. Andrew was also trained at Norwich City College and during his employment, achieving City and Guilds, First Aid and Diploma Qualifications. Andrew enjoys working for people as their Councillor. Prior to being Town Mayor of Wymondham, he was Deputy for a year. He is a member of the Licensing and Appeals Committee of South Norfolk Council. Andrew is campaigning against the Anti Social Behaviour and Vandalism that are blighting our communities. To this end, he has recently been arguing at the South Norfolk Crime Reduction Partnership for the better use of Police manpower and for more police officers to be returned to the beat.
