Michelle Monck

South Norfolk District Councillor for Tasburgh Ward

Fighting for the Parishes of Tasburgh Saxlingham Nethergate Shotesham

About Michelle

Born in Lincolnshire I moved to north Suffolk and the age of nine and have lived in Norfolk for the past nine years. I’m married to Jeremy and have two young children, Harvey and Alfie.

I am a marketing manager at Norwich Union and prior to this have had roles in the public sector in education and purchasing.

I hold the Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing and am a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Currently I am studying for a Masters in Strategic Marketing.

Marketing is often thought of as glossy brochures and clever websites, however, it has shown to me how important it is to understand and deliver what your customer wants. The same, for me, applies in politics. I’m passionate about understanding the needs of the local community and working hard to deliver results for them.

I’m also a Governor for Saxlingham Primary School.

My hobbies include gardening (digging and pruning especially - it's great stress relief) cooking and listening to music.
