About ColinColin Gould has lived and worked in Loddon and Chedgrave for the past 38 years. He and his wife Sonia have two married children Esther and Matthew. Colin is a retired Police Officer having served 32 year in the Norfolk Constabulary, the last 25 years at Loddon. He also served as the public enquiry officer at Loddon Police Station for 8 years retiring when the station closed in July 2005. Colin is very involved in the local community, having served as your District Councillor for the past 8 years. He is a member of the Licensing and Appeals, planning and e-government committees and the Care Fairness & Housing Policy Development Panel. Colin is a good community champion. He is involved with the Chet Valley Development Partnership, St Matthews Housing and the Chedgrave Residents Association. During his term as your Councillor he has promoted the aims of the area and has been involved in obtaining grants for many projects and has assisted many people with their Planning Applications & Housing problems. He has fought to keep the car parks free from charging and maintained. Since the Council housing stock transfer to Saffron Housing he has joined their Customer Advisory Panel and has helped formulate Policies for the benefit of its customers. If elected, Colin will work hard for all the residents of the Ward, irrespective of their normal political views.
