Martin Wilby

South Norfolk District Councillor for Dickleburgh Ward

Representing the Parishes of Dickleburgh - Rushall - Great Moulton - Langmere - Tivetshall St Margaret - Tivetshall St. Mary

About Martin

Martin says "Local people need someone who will stand-up for them on the local council. I would like to represent you and I hope that you will vote for me on May 3rd."

Martin has lived in South Norfolk with his wife Jenny all his life. They have two sons James and Richard. Martin has been pleased and honoured to represent you on South Norfolk Council for the past four years.

Martin is a good community champion. He attends most Parish Council meetings to listen to local views and concerns. He simply puts the needs of villages that he represents first.

Martin is a member of various Committees at South Norfolk Council such as the South West planning committee, Scrutiny committee, Health Forum and the Gypsy and Traveller Group.

He puts the needs of South Norfolk residents first by supporting first class care for the elderly, being tough on crime including anti social behaviour. He also believes it is important to support local village schools, youth groups and local Businesses.

His hobbies include computers, cricket, golf, football (Norwich City Supporter) photography, languages and walking in the countryside. Martin believes his strengths are hard work, commitment and reliability.
Meeting people in the villages of Dickleburgh, Rushall, Langmere, the Tivetshalls and Great Moulton has given Martin a great insight into the needs of the people of the Ward. As a result Martin is well placed to speak up at South Norfolk Council on the real issues that matter to the residents of the above villages.
