About Robert

Robert says "Local people need someone who will stand-up for them on the local council. I would like to represent you and I hope that you will vote for me on May 3rd."

Robert Savage has lived in Wymondham for over 40 years during which time he has seen the town grow into the thriving community that it is today.

Robert is a Chartered Civil Engineer who works for the Broads Authority as their Rivers Engineer.

He is a local man, keen to see Wymondham retain its character and not be overwhelmed by outside influences detrimental to its residents, while, at the same time, promoting beneficial developments, such as employment opportunities and the new library.

Robert has been a volunteer conservationist with WyNG for many years. He enjoys walking, playing sport and working with wood. He is also a keen gardener and a DIY enthusiast.

He is a keen environmentalist and if elected as your Councillor he will campaign hard to protect our open spaces particularly those along the Tiffey Valley. He will also seek to maintain the quality of life that Wymondham enjoys.

If elected, Robert will work hard for all the people of the Ward, irrespective of their normal political views.
