Michael Windridge

South Norfolk District Councillor for Hempnall Ward

Representing the Parishes of Bedingham Fritton Hardwick Hempnall Morningthorpe Shelton & Woodton.

About Michael

Michael Windridge lives at Fritton Common with his wife Sabrina, their eleven year old son, Harry and their newly arrived Labrador puppy, ‘Risky’.

In May 2003 Michael was elected for Hempnall Ward to represent the people of
Bedingham, Fritton, Hardwick, Hempnall, Morningthorpe, and Shelton on South
Norfolk Council.

He has been an outspoken critic of South Norfolk Council’s failure to control its share of Council Tax and its wasteful expenditure on management bureaucracy.
Michael continues to campaign against threats to the local countryside. He helped to found the SHOWT campaign in order to protect the Hempnall area’s rural landscape from a controversial wind station proposal

A keen football and cricket fan, Michael enjoys taking Harry to Carrow Road and walking ‘Risky’ around Fritton Common.
