South Norfolk Conservative Association has over 1250 members making it the largest political group in South Norfolk. Our members come from all age groups and occupations. They provide the local Conservative Party with the necessary help and support which allows us to carry out our work. Our MP Richard Bacon has represented the South Norfolk constituency since 2001 and won the prestigious Backbencher of the Year award in 2007. South Norfolk Conservatives won control of South Norfolk Council in May 2007 when they won 39 seats in the best showing by any Conservative Group in the country. The Leader is John Fuller, who represents the ward of Brooke. South Norfolk Conservatives are also well represented on Norfolk County Council (which is also controlled by the Conservatives). The Leader of the County Council is Daniel Cox, who represents Wymondham on both the District and County Councils. |
