Friday 13th was lucky for South Norfolk Conservatives as we were honoured with a campaign visit by Baroness Gillian Shepherd, former minister and much respected South West Norfolk MP from 1987 to 1995.

Gillian has made a point of encouraging women into politics and was keen to help out South Norfolk Conservatives when she heard that we have three young women standing on May 3rd.

South Norfolk Conservatives have 16 women fighting the election on May 3rd, our highest number ever and with thee candidates in their twenties and nine under forty, our team is more reflective of the general population than ever before.
